August 14, 2024 – At the request of the American Red Cross, Ģ����Ƶ-Busch delivered one truckload – more than 50,000 cans – of emergency drinking water to support residents in Tallahassee, FL and the surrounding area who were impacted by Hurricane Debby.  

Hurricane Debby was declared a major disaster upon making landfall in Florida earlier this month, causing widespread flooding and property damage throughout the state. This donation of emergency drinking water will supply Tallahassee area residents and first responders with safe, clean drinking water to aid ongoing recovery efforts.  

Ģ����Ƶ-Busch's wholesaler partner, Tri-Eagle Sales in Midway, FL, is working alongside the American Red Cross to distribute the emergency drinking water to community members and organizations. 

“The American Red Cross is deeply grateful to Ģ����Ƶ-Busch and Tri-Eagle Sales for their generous donation and delivery of safe drinking water following the damage left from Hurricane Debby,” said Lauren Ulrich, Executive Director of Operations Management and Logistics for the American Red Cross. “We appreciate their ongoing support of our mission and feel fortunate to count them as partners.”  

The 50,000+ cans of water were sourced from Ģ����Ƶ-Busch’s brewery in Cartersville, GA. This facility, along with the Ģ����Ƶ-Busch brewery in Ft. Collins, CO, periodically pauses beer production throughout the year to can emergency drinking water and help communities in times of disaster in partnership with the American Red Cross. 

Ģ����Ƶ-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing support for disaster relief efforts in partnership with the American Red Cross, dating back to 1906. Since the inception of the emergency drinking water program in 1988, Ģ����Ƶ-Busch and its wholesaler partners have donated more than 93 million cans of emergency drinking water to communities and volunteer fire departments across 49 states in support of ongoing relief and preparedness efforts.
